Age spots

Topical treatments along with Photo-facials can be used in treating all manner of age spots, from slight sun spots, to darker, blotchy skin that has been discolored from age and extended exposure to the sun and elements.

Cysts

These growths are common on the face, body and even the scalp. They look like little underground balls and tend to increase in size over time. Occasionally they can get inflamed and become painful. Eczema and allergic reactions

Some people have sensitive skin that tends to develop itchy, red, dry rashes. Often, these are seasonal and appear in patients whose families have members with asthma and/or environmental allergies. Similar rashes can be caused by contact with irritants such as jewelry, perfumes and others. Facial blemishes/Acne

Acne can occur at any age in both males and females. It is not only a skin problem, but can have psychological consequences. Treatments range from topical to oral, depending on the extent of the condition. Cystic Acne, an especially severe variant, can result in permanent scarring if not treated early and appropriately.

Hair removal

Men and women are bothered by hair growing in areas it doesn’t belong. The Photo-facial is highly successful in the elimination of unwanted hair by targeting the pigment in the root of the growing hairs. After approximately four treatments, repeated lasering of the roots brings you the smooth skin you have always dreamed about. Any body area is fair game, literally from head to toe. Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat cellulite, promote weight loss, reduce underlying fat deposits and support anti-aging of skin. Medications are injected directly into the dermis at the site of the condition being treated. It is introduced in microscopic quantities of natural extracts, homeopathic agents, pharmaceuticals and vitamins directly beneath the skin. This helps eliminate side effects and stimulates the body to heal itself. Because the target areas are immediately reached with undiluted medication, the amounts needed for effective treatment are minimal, making Mesotherapy cost effective and relatively quick. Nappage

Rosacea / Scars / Keloids / Stretch-marks

 The Palomar RejuveLux™ Pulsed Light System is the most versatile of laser treatment and is effective for facial blood vessels, rosacea, port wine stains, red birthmarks, flushing, scars, keloids and stretch-marks. The newest application is a treatment called “Photo-facials” (laser facials), consisting of gentle lasering of the face, neck, chest or other body areas, for the elimination of the signs of aging. Along with the improvement of fine lines and the appearance of flawless skin, red spots and other irregularities gradually disappear. This laser also treats acne cysts, eliminating the need for oral medications together with those disfiguring cysts. Skin cancer

Years of daily exposure to the sun and in some cases family genetics can eventually result in the appearance of skin cancers. When found early, these lesions can usually be treated with 100% success without future consequences. The most dangerous of all skin cancers, Melanomas, are no exception. If you notice any new moles or a significant change in any of your existing moles, please come in right away to have Dr. Marraccini examine them.

Skin tags and other benign moles

Skin tags are little pieces of extra skin decorating the neck, underarms and other areas of the skin of many of us. You can get rid of them easily enough. Similarly, brown moles that are not cancerous but mar the beauty of your face or body can be removed without difficulty or down-time. You can go back to work right after the treatment.

Spider veins
